Sweep House & Keep Watch

“I’ve got friends in prayer places”, might be a phrase Tony Dungy borrowed first, but I too have friends in prayer places! To my friends who believe in the power of prayer, this call to prayer is for you to use your influence in the natural and spiritual to reveal Jesus! If you live or work or even have a particular interest in the Erie Area, you are in the right place at the right time. It is time to use God’s authority in our sphere of influence (Genesis 1:28, Psalm 103:22). We are never to interfere with man’s free choice, but rather have authority over situations. Be they physical, financial, emotional or spiritual. For example; prayers have gone up over the years for every city/county school district as well as the governmental and economic structures of Erie municipalities. Multiple prayer walks have spoken blessings and declarations for “peaceful habitation, quiet resting places and safe dwellings for families” (Isaiah 32:18). Given the current move of God ignited at Asbury College, this is the time for you who have a heart for revival and young people to pray for Erie’s campuses!

The PrayErie monthly prayer walks will continue (March 4, 9:20am at Headwaters Park) however, this call to prayer is different.

This call is for each watchman to accept the mantle of prayer for their particular domain, to sweep house, and keep it filled with peace (Job 25:2, Acts 17:26-27), to exercise faith in this time and place. Should you choose to answer the call, and I hope you will, grab a friend and ask the Lord how to pray on-site with insight. (God also honors “drive by” prayers.) Declaring the words God gives you, use your voice to allow God’s will to be released on earth. Go be an access point for the voice of God! The Lord will show you, as He did Elisha in 2Kings 6, the angels who have been sent to fight with and for Erie and this nation. Did you know you were called to live here for such a time as this?

1Prayer for God's called ones:

Heavenly Father, I pray for my praying family of friends, that You will ignite kingdom life, and the fire of Holy Spirit within each of us, changing us from the inside out. We ask You to clean house —make a clean sweep of our lives. Place everything in its proper place before You that we might see clearly how to pray for others. I decree, your people will not only pray in the spirit but will walk in Holy Spirit, standing boldly in the gate of their influence.

We pray for a clean sweep of malice and pretense, envy and hurtful talk. We put aside every trace of deceit and hypocrisy, all slander and hateful speech. Erie has had a taste of the goodness and gracious kindness of God. Now may we drink deeply of God’s pure kindness, growing up mature and whole in God.

Give us humility, determination and perseverance like the woman who lost a valuable coin in her house. With the Light of Christ, lead us in a total sweep of our territory until we find all that was lost or stolen. We ask for your wisdom and strategy to redeem these areas, acknowledging that your work on the cross was enough to redeem all that has been lost. We declare God’s Kingdom come and his will be done in the territory God has given us. Amen.

Aligning with the new era!

PRAYERS & DECLARATIONS FOR THE ERIE AREA:

There have been negative, life draining words spoken over this land in the past. Some of these curse words have even made it half-way around the world. On a recent visit to Hawaii, I attended a local church. The pastor said, ‘Oh, I know someone from Erie. He calls it dreary Erie & the mistake on the lake.” Aghast, I responded, “Not any more, God is moving in Erie, Pennsylvania. We know it as “Gem City” the gem of the Great Lakes!”

God created the land and called it good, and He doesn’t make mistakes! The land He created and the people He called to live here are for His good intention (Acts 17:24-28)! Erie may have seemed dreary at one point in time but the apostle John reminds us of an old/new commandment which was evidenced in Christ and is also in us. The darkness is passing away and the true Light is already shining, therefore we are to love one another (1John 2:8-11)! If you love God and love people, you are invited to prepare your heart and pray these prayers and declarations along with us:

Declarations

We praise and thank you LORD for bringing us here to dwell and we declare it as our possession. Erie, Pennsylvania, city & county, is the place in which we are called to rejoice and exercise dominion authority (Deuteronomy 11:10-12). We are grateful that Your thoughts for Erie are thoughts of peace and not evil, to give us a future and continuous hope (Jeremiah 29:11). We bow our hearts before You and on behalf of the people here we repent of the sins of our city & county. We ask You to forgive our sins and cleanse Erie from all unrighteousness.

Teach us to prepare the way for a divine visitation of Holy Spirit in Erie. May our city/county as a whole, turn to God. We plead the blood of Jesus over Erie and declare Jesus is LORD over this land (Nehemiah 1:6-7, 1John 1:9). From this day forward, we will only speak Your words and Your will over this Gem City! We take authority over every negative word that has been spoken over Erie and we declare them null and void in Jesus’ name. We pull down every witchcraft prayer over our city and declare those words powerless – they will produce no fruit here. We stand as watchmen on the wall over Erie and declare the Blood of Jesus over our borders and city gates.

We declare fear cannot reside in Erie, and division will not reign here. We decree unity reigns in Erie city and county and where there is unity, God commands the blessing of life evermore (Psalm 133:3). We declare today, sickness, and disease will not gain a foothold in Erie. God fearing people in Erie are strong in the power of His might, and there will be no feeble among us. Children will play daily in the streets of our cities and towns, safe and unafraid for God is watching over our land. Our streets and roads will be filled with healthy, whole, elderly men and women, who have been blessed by God and satisfied with long life. We are covered in the blood of Jesus Christ, and are walking in the fulness of healing that was purchased for us at the Cross (Psalm 105:37).

We declare this day that Erie and its governmental officials will do only what is good and right in the eyes of the LORD. We ask for godly men and women who do Your will to be elected to every office and appointed to every council/board position. We pull down every stronghold over Erie and cast it to the ground. We say, “Go back to where you came from, there is no place for darkness here.” We ask You to send warring angels to surround our borders and keep out all evil and those with evil intent. May those involved in drugs, trafficking, greed and pride and other evils, leave our city and never return (Psalm 127:1, 125:2, 91:11-12). We commit this day to build fortified walls around our city. Walls of the spoken Word of God, walls of praise and worship, walls of prophetic declaration, walls that cannot be demolished, but will forever prosper, in Jesus’ name (2Chronicles 14:2-7, 1Timothy2:1-4).

Your word says, “Unless the LORD guards the city, we say awake in vain.” We ask You to guard our city/county from this day forward, knowing whatever we ask in prayer, we receive. Thank You God for guarding Erie day and night. We bless our neighbors to the north, south, east and west; may they be blessed because Erie is blessed! We declare and decree this day, Erie is obedient to God, in total peace, and continual prosperity.

January Prayer in McKean

1-7-2023 – Today is not about an “area” but an “Era”

As we break into this new year with Jesus at the head, let’s hit the ground running! It’s time to reaffirm the Good News of the Kingdom of God and thus confront darkness by turning on the light! When you enter a room and turn on the light switch – darkness automatically flees. It’s true in the natural and true in the supernatural. Turn on the light of God’s Word by declaring His blessings! Psalm 29:4 “The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is full of majesty.”

From MaryBeth White: A few years ago, I began hearing more and more prophetic or apostolic people making “decrees” instead of petitions or requests to God. That kind of puzzled me, and initially offended me that they could be so presumptuous to declare what God was going to do. I began to hear the reasoning behind this, and now I have begun making decrees, as well as petitions. Also, in the last few years I have heard the difference between the church and the Ekklesia. So today we’re going to talk a little bit about the word Ekklesia, the reasoning behind decrees, and then we will make some decrees and /or petitions on behalf of the Lord.

Foreword – Dutch Sheets writes Melchizedek had a dual role, both priest and king, he was a type of Christ. Kings sit in positions of authority over kingdoms; they move in authority, releasing it downward from their seat of authority. Priests, on the other hand, serve the needs of others. They offer, prayers, petitions, worship, and intercession upward on behalf of those they serve. Jesus fulfills both of these roles, representing the rule of God to the earth (King) and in the needs of humanity to heaven (priest). Both roles are needed in us, offering priestly requests & releasing kingly decrees.

Church/ Kyriakos vs Ekklesia

[p 13] Dutch Sheets: About 10 years ago an understanding began emerging that brought everything into clear focus. Teaching began coming forth regarding the ekklesia. Christians discovered that when Jesus said in Matthew 16:18, “I will build my church [ekklesia]” a people, the gates of hell could not prevail against, He was referring not to a building, a religious organization, a worship service, or even his bride. He was referring to a legislature, a government body. This was meaning of the word Ekklesia in Christ’s day.

Emma Starks insight: King James commissioned the translation of the Bible in 1611. However, he stipulated that every time the word Ekklesia appears, (a legislative and governing assembly) it was to be replaced by the translation for the word Kyriakos [belonging to the Lord; kirk, or ‘church’]. King James did not want his subjects to realize their authority. So, for 400 years we were taught to think of ourselves as a household and family, but never a government.

Pam Kohler: Jesus was intentional to use the word Ekklesia and not the word Church/ Kyriakos, which in Greek, meant a gathering; a congregation; an assembly. There was a purpose to the Ekklesia and it was “to govern; to legislate; to rule”. And the people to whom Jesus spoke this would have understood that concept.

From the Greek perspective, Ekklesia was a governmental assembly having authority in determining the affairs of their cities and territories, depending on their citizenship. All qualified persons were summoned together for a purpose and expected to participate.

the Romans adopted the word –to them it was a specialized military task force that made things look Roman. They would disciple a nation through warfare, education, legislation, government, family and culture. They wanted to disciple a nation- to have it look and function like Rome.

From the Hebrew perspective, Jesus’s use of that word Ekklesia would have told the hearers that they were a summoned people, assembling together to receive God’s heavenly kingdom government on the earth. Jesus intends for us to be part of an Ekklesia; agents of His kingdom government to transform earth back to the model of the Garden of Eden; and a governing assembly of His followers that will transform cities, nations, and the world!

Dutch: Many of the body of Christ now realize that we are Christ’s governmental arm on the earth. We understand that we have kingdom authority to speak and command for him. According to Matthew 16:18–19, we can forbid and allow, bind and loose, command, and decree. Christ’s arm of government on earth, his ekklesia, has been enlightened to our privilege and assignment, and this revelation is resulting in revolutionary change.

McKean is central to the county so we will meet at a little park just north of McKean Borough off route 99. McKean Community Recreational Park, 8798 Main St., McKean PA. Saturday, January 7, at 9:20 am. As soon as you enter, there are two pavilions on the right and parking on the left; as always, dress for the weather. We will meet in the first pavilion.

February Prayer at the Millcreek Mall

February’s prayer walk is set for Saturday, February 4, 9:20AM, at the Millcreek Mall. Use the entrance between Mad Mex and Primanti Brothers – right under the “Round one” sign. There is seating down the hall.

Unlikely people, Unusual solutions

So, if you were going to start a new venture, who would you pick as your first employees to represent your company?

A thief? Maybe an older woman, who has lived an aimless life, and has poor social skills. How about someone who would abandon you as soon as things got difficult? A shameless woman, with severe mood swings? How about an agitator and murderer? They seem like pretty unlikely characters to choose as representatives of your new company.

Jesus chose these people, as unlikely as they appeared. He loved them, he forgave them, and he transformed them in the people who would work with him to advance His Kingdom.

Each of these individuals encountered the Transforming love of God, His great grace, acceptance, friendship. He was aware of the treasure in them. He sees the treasure in us, a people who will also work with him to advance the Kingdom of God today.

This is a Segway, or rabbit trail but I’ll tie them together. We often look at many Old or New Testament stories with such familiarity we’re no longer astonished by them.

What if you were kayaking in the bay of Erie and you dropped your car keys down and watch them sink to the bottom. What if someone said “I know, I’ll just tell the keys to float’
What if you were at the foot of State Street at the Bicentennial Tower and you needed to get to Perry Monument, at the end of the peninsula ASAP; how about if somebody put their hiking stick into the bay and watched the water separated and ground dried up so that you could walk directly across?
What if you worked at the Pentagon and they needed a military strategy, and someone suggested “let’s walk around that city and then shout”. And did it, and it worked!
What if all the grocery stores really ran out of food? What if someone took one kids lunch and fed all the school children in the city of Erie.

All these things were done by humans, including Jesus as a human, relying on the Holy Spirit.

I believe this year we will begin to see unlikely people bringing unusual solutions from the Lord. An important part of our involvement in the Kingdom of God in this year is to know who we are; and no longer who we were.

2 Corinthians 5:16-17 So from now on, we do not think about what people are like by looking at them. We even thought about Christ that way one time. But we do not think of Him that way anymore. For if a man belongs to Christ, he is a new person. The old life is gone. New life has begun.

God’s declarations to us – Mary Beth White 4-24-2022

Should we ever say “I am a sinner saved by grace”? last week while in the shower, the Lord told me NO. Look at the verb tense, we WERE sinners but now are righteous

2 Corinthians 5:21 God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. God calls us righteous! What else does He say about us?

Old is gone, new is now

2 Cor 5:17 So if anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation: everything old has passed away; see, everything has become new!

2 Corinthians 4:16 So we do not lose heart. Even though our outer nature is wasting away, our inner nature is being renewed day by day.

We Fell short, but now are justified

Romans 3: 23-24 since all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God; they are now justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,

1 Corinthians 6:9-11 9 Don’t you know that the unrighteous will not inherit God’s kingdom? Do not be deceived: No sexually immoral people, idolaters, adulterers, or males who have sex with males, 10 no thieves, greedy people, drunkards, verbally abusive people, or swindlers will inherit God’s kingdom. 11 And some of you used to be like this. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

Death to life

Ephesians 2: 1You were dead through the trespasses and sins 2in which you once lived, following the course of this world, following the ruler of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work among those who are disobedient. 3All of us once lived among them in the passions of our flesh, following the desires of flesh and senses, and we were by nature children of wrath, like everyone else. 4 But God, who is rich in mercy, out of the great love with which he loved us 5 even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved— 6 and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7so that in the ages to come he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. 8For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God— 9not the result of works, so that no one may boast. 10 For we are what he has made us, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand to be our way of life. Darkness to light

1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s own people, in order that you may proclaim the mighty acts of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.

Ephesians 5:8 is more emphatic; For once you were darkness, but now in the Lord you are light. Live as children of light—

Kingdom of satan to Kingdom of God

Col 1:13 He has rescued us from the power of darkness and transferred us into the kingdom of his beloved Son, Acts 26:18 to open their eyes so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me.’

From a Slave, to friend, to child of God

John 15:15 I do not call you servants (slaves) any longer, because the servant does not know what the master is doing; but I have called you friends, because I have made known to you everything that I have heard from my Father.

John 1:12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name

Romans 9:26 “And it shall be that in the place where it was said to them, ‘you are not My people,’ There they shall be called sons of the living God.”

From Distant to Chosen and deeply loved

Ephesians 2:3-4 All of us once lived among them in the passions of our flesh, following the desires of flesh and senses, and we were by nature children of wrath, like everyone else. But God, who is rich in mercy, out of the great love with which he loved us … made us alive together with Christ… and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus

Ephesians 2:13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.

John 15:16 You did not choose me but I chose you. And I appointed you to go and bear fruit, fruit that will last, so that the Father will give you whatever you ask him in my name.

John 17:23 I in them and you in me, that they may become completely one, so that the world may know that you have sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.

Even our Garments change

Is 64:6 We have all become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous deeds are like a filthy cloth. We all fade like a leaf, and our iniquities, like the wind, take us away.

Isaiah 61:10 … for he has clothed me with the garments of salvation, he has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself with a garland, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.

The Lord God almighty declares this about you & me; and wants us to agree with His word.

I was created to become the righteousness of God

I wear salvation, and righteousness

I am a new creation; my inner nature is being renewed day by day.

I have been saved by grace; and I am justified by his grace as a gift

I have redemption, I am washed, sanctified, and justified.

I am alive together with Christ

I already have eternal life

I am seated with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus

I am His masterpiece, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand to be my way of life

I am part of a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s own people

I live in his marvelous light and I myself, am light

I live in the kingdom of his beloved Son, under the power God

I am a friend of God and a child of the living God

I am brought near to God, he chose me, and He loves me with a great love, my heavenly papa loves me in the same way (with the depth and quality) that he loves his son Jesus

9. Pray that our nation would be protected from external and internal threats. Uphold our military, police, intelligence, and leaders in prayer as they protect our nation and citizens (Proverbs 24:6).

10. Pray that our nation would once again seek and honor God. Pray that we as citizens would revere God and seek His righteousness (Matthew 6:33).

March Prayer at Headwaters Park

As the Erie Area Watchmen Prayer Network aligns with the era of prayer and declaration; we will marry the power of prayer with the authority of the decree. In her book, Declarations For Breakthrough, Jane Hamon says, “Prayer is petitions, communication and fellowship with God, while decrees are God’s words released through our voices into the earth realm to bring change. Prayer is actually the foundation for every decree we make.”

Acts 17 tells us that where we live in time and place are important. Here in Erie, we are situated on a high ridge that forms an International Continental Divide along the southern shore of Lake Erie. Given this unique place and opportunity, we will be praying & decreeing from points along this ridge in 2023. Anchoring our prayers from the book of Joel and Ezekiel 47; “A fountain shall flow from the House of the Lord” (Joel 3:18).

We seek to continue the work that Jesus fulfilled in Luke 4:18-19 To preach the gospel to the poor, heal the brokenhearted, proclaim liberty to the captives, recover sight to the blind, and set at liberty those who are oppressed, to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.

Bringing light to a dark world by sharing the gospel of Jesus through tent meetings in neighborhoods and communities. Where God leads us, we will GO.

MAY – PRAYER WALK at the PA/NY Border

Much to our delight, an eagle flew overhead at the end of our prayer time!

We come in the name of the Lord with divine weapons to demolish strongholds, to win back fallen stewardship that God’s people may inherit what He has prepared for them. That the Lord will make known the path of life to people of NWPA. Violence will not be heard again in our land, nor devastation or destruction within our borders; But we will call our walls salvation and our gates praise. (II Corinthians 19:4, Leviticus 25:24, Isaiah 60:18)

As well as praying that there be not devastation or destruction within our borders; we asked the Lord to hold evil doers within NWPA borders until they are captured. To not send them on to do harm elsewhere, but rather uncover the darkness here, because there are men and women in NWPA who are trained to handle such criminals.

Pennsylvania you are called to speak, write, decree, declare, intercede, and proclaim
the glory of the name of the Lord. Get up on a high mountain and decree, “Our God
reigns.” Exalt His name; lift a banner for the nations. From Pennsylvania, your young
will go forth to share the gospel to the darkest places of the earth. Do not fear. “You
and they are the light of the world.”
You are a sending state. Train them up and send them out. Establish places of healing;
places of instruction; places of safety where hearts can be shared without fear. Get
them ready for their call.
A new group of young intercessors is being birthed in Pennsylvania. Steward them;
encourage them; and allow them to be in the same room with worship, with prayer, and
allow them to soak in the anointing.
Pray and decree over your legislators; support them through relationship, prayer, and
influence. There is a shift coming, a shift in leadership in your state. I will put down one
and exalt another. Cry out for my will, for Divine intervention, for open doors and
opportunities to bring forth my Word and direction.
Pennsylvania you are killing your deliverers. You must wipe out abortion. Some who
are to be raised up to send are being destroyed in the womb. Your purpose is being
hindered. I decree life over you and the awareness that I am releasing my purposes to
you and through you, but you must my deliverers to be born. Arise Pennsylvania to
your purpose.

JUNE – PRAYER WALK at the PA/OHIO Border

As Watchmen over our territory, what a privilege we have, to be able to go where the Lord leads and declare His Word! In the spiritual realm, the supremacy of Christ has been decreed over every municipality, every school district, and physical access points in our county. (In August we go to the southern edge of Erie County; N-E-W-S). We declare the solemn words of Christ, who has David’s key to open doors that none can shut and close doors that none can open. We say,”Wake up, you living gateways, and rejoice! Open our eyes to our true condition, so that we may turn from darkness to the Light and from the power of Satan to the power of God! Fling wide, you eternal doors for the King of glory is ready to come in to Pennsylvania!”

Prayer points for the Ohio border:

This Welcome Center is going to be reconstructed over the next few months. Yes Lord, we speak “reconstruction” to Your people and divine purposes! Prayed that Keystone people in PA will connect with other states as Father God builds His Kingdom.

The welcome sign into Ohio reads, “Find It Here”. We say “Find Jesus Here”! Prayed again for perps to be caught in NWPA and not be able to escape through our borders. Prayed Psalm 31.

It was noticed on the PRAYERIE shirts that the black letters stand out & spell AERIE. Webster = the nest of a bird (eagle) on a mountaintop; an elevated often secluded dwelling, structure, or position. One of the prayer team has an eagles nest on his property (see photo in gallery). Another connection at our prayer time with an eagle.

We know that Penn wrote the Frame of Government and the Charter of Privileges, which became the basis of not only Pennsylvania’s Constitution but the United States Constitution, which is the greatest, shortest document for freedom and religious freedom in the entire world.

So we know that our framers, our founders, believed and established the United States through Pennsylvania, through William Penn, through his proclamations, through his documents, to be a nation established on Judeo-Christian precepts. It’s not something we made up. This was the foundation of our country. The framers knew it, George Washington said it in his Thanksgiving Proclamation that it’s the duty of all nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God, to obey his will, to be grateful for his benefits and humbly to implore his protection and his favor.

So right now, Father, I pray. I thank you for this opportunity to be together, Lord. I ask for the portal of heaven to be open above us, to seek Your face, to seek Your hand in these times. We ask for mercy upon our birthplace in the ways that we have failed You and gone against You, Lord.

We pray that 2 Chronicles prayer – we pray and humble ourselves before You and seek Your face because You said that You would hear from heaven and heal our land. And that’s what we pray for now, Lord, that You would heal our land, that You would heal it from injustice, that You would heal it from untruth, the lies that have been told, the truth that has been covered up, Lord, by the spirit of control, by unholy alliances – we break them apart now in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

We call forth those angels that will root out the spirit of covering, camouflage over truth, because we want to release the destiny of Pennsylvania into the United States, into the other countries that desire to know who we are, how we are, and why we are. So Father, we thank You that You, through Your angels, through the power of Your Holy Spirit and the mighty name of Jesus, will release those untruths now, You will bind them up, You will release them now in Jesus’ name.

We take that authority and stand upon it, Lord, that the hearts of the people that You desire – because You desire hearts – we declare that those hearts will be turned to You, Lord, to your truth. That’s all that we need, is to see the truth of where we were established and how, Lord, and on Your precepts. So, we thank You for this time together.

This is powerful today. It’s wonderful to hear from all those who are participating today and what you’ve shared prophetically. As we were sitting here listening, I really heard the Lord say that this year there’s a birthing, God’s doing a new thing in Pennsylvania. The Lord said behold I do a new thing. Any time He uses that new language it’s apostolic and prophetic in nature.

I thought today that there is a watering of the seed that Abby is talking about, the seed of the nation that William Penn declared, that the seed is being watered today. I want to open in prayer.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the gathering of apostles and prophets, government leaders, Your intercessors, pastors and saints of the Most High to hear and decree the word of the Lord into and over our great state. May there be an assembling of apostles and prophets coming together. Lord, to bring comfort, confidence and corporeity to send Your kingdom into every county of our commonwealth. May the gathering of Your Ekklesia’s leaders bring security and peace, and may our coming together cause us to hear You more clearly.

In 2022 it was prophesied by a prophet Dennis Weatrick (sp?) from Canada. He said over Pennsylvania as Levi was in the loins of Abraham, likewise all 49 states are in the loins of Pennsylvania. He went on to say, we must now call forth the apostles in the state of Pennsylvania.

Two weeks later Dr. William Hinn prophesied, confirming the word. He said 49 states are in the womb of Pennsylvania, and Pennsylvania will lead the other 49 states into the glory of God.

So we decree, Lord, that Pennsylvania will now become a new wineskin for the other 49 states. We decree that now there will be a gathering of key apostolic, prophetic influencers in all 67 counties.

I want to just reference quickly the phrase you used, Clay, about kingdom authority because what I heard today in my spirit I want to decree it quickly – is that like the Jesus movement in the 70s and what California had and Pennsylvania on those Amish, Mennonite farms and those big gatherings when many young people came to Christ in the fear of the Holy Spirit. What I realized both the movement in the 70s and the move today, this ongoing revival, awakening, there is a similarity, and that is there is a clash of authorities and governments and kingdoms.

And, if I may say it what stemmed the 70s Jesus movement was basically the move of Marxism on the campuses across America, Berkeley, Kent State and wherever, but God had a counter move. So God’s kingdom culture is counter to the counterculture. When I was a pastor I had young people showing up I didn’t recognize. The Lord said if you’ll look I’ll change them, and I did and he did.

I bring this up because in Pennsylvania there was a clash of cultures that was unmistakable. Those cultures were the conservative, represented by the Amish, the Mennonites, and then you go into Philly and the big cities and you’ve got the drug culture, and you’ve got the Nikki Cruzes in New York coming out of the drugs, delivered, going to Pennsylvania to minister. So these clash of cultures is a reminder for us to know historically and prophetically that God’s kingdom culture always prevails over any culture or any counterculture.

So we decree that today Yeshua said this – the gates of hell, the authority of hell, the authority of hell’s government will not prevail against the Ekklesia that holds the keys of the kingdom that Jesus took from the enemy when he descended into hell. So we decree all of this in the name of Yeshua Hamashiach. Amen.

Fruit of many, many prayers!

God loves us!

He loves His people so much that He rescues us for His sake, so that He can be among us. We read of this in the story of the exodus.“You rescued Israel out of Egypt so that You could live among them. You did it for Your sake” (Exodus 29:46). And God still rescues His people.

Many prayers have been lifted about the horrific drug problem and violence in our area and around the country. Pastors, praying Grammas, and intercessor groups have bombarded heaven about this. At the NY/PA border in May and again at the OHIO/PA border in June, PRAYERIE warriors prayed over our territory. We actually asked that “traffickers” be kept in NWPA & dealt with. That the law enforcement officers and others trained in such matters, would apprehend criminals. Hallelujah the Lord has moved mightily in Erie and in PA!

Last week, 58 individuals were indicted in Erie under suspicion of massive amounts of drug dealing and the escalated violence that goes with it. “We are very optimistic that this will have a very positive effect on Erie,” said Stephen Kaufman, First Assistant, U.S. Attorney of the United States Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Pennsylvania”. 250 law enforcement officers were involved in uncovering the criminal activities. Also, since our prayer walks, two prison escapees have been caught and returned to prison. One in the Philadelphia area and one in Warren County.

You rescue “Erie” so that You can live among us. You do it for Your sake! We say, “Come Lord Jesus, come live among us.”

“Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity. I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord.” And you forgave the guilt of my sin. Now I say that each believer should confess his sins to God when he is aware of them, while there is time to be forgiven. Judgment will not touch him if he does. You are my hiding place from every storm of life; you even keep me from getting int trouble! You surround me with songs of victory. I will instruct you (says the Lord) and guide you along the best pathway for your life; I will advise you and watch your progress. Don’t be like a senseless horse of mule that has to have a bit in its mouth to keep it in line! Many sorrows come to the wicked, but abiding love surrounds those who trust in the Lord. So rejoice in him, all those who are his, and shout for joy, all who try to obey him” (Psalm 32:5-11).

Family Fun Festival hosted by the Erie Sports Center

Prayerie was given the wonderful opportunity to host a prayer tent for this exciting day! What a blessing it was to meet so many others who are praying for our region. We lifted up the name of Jesus all day; while listening to and singing along with, praise music!

Blessings to those who shared their time and “roared” in the tent! I believe we were part of a sound that created a prophetic covering and released heaven into our atmosphere! Praises to God Most High went up in music all day from this high ground (the St. Lawrence Ridge running along the southern shore of Lake Erie). Songs of praise & adoration to our King reached out over the lake to our northern border with Canada. “The lion has roared – the sovereign Lord has spoken, who can but prophecy” (Amos 3:3).

August 5 Prayer Walk on Presque Isle, Lighthouse Beach

Pastor Tim Sheets of Oasis Church says, “Everything that can be shaken will be shaken, but don’t get shook!” The Kingdom of God, the spiritual church, cannot be shaken (Hebrews 12:27). We have been praying over the land & people here ever since and are excited about the Paint the Border prayer initiative issued by our Lord through Dutch Sheets, Tim Sheets, Chuck Pierce and their ministries.! Praying friends have coated our borders multiple times. At Holy Spirit’s urging and as only He could orchestrate, we actually started earlier this year making decrees from the southern rim of the Great Lakes Basin standing on the St. Lawrence International Continental Divide. Without realizing it, we were following what was to become a national call to prayer for state borders. We visited Erie’s Headwaters Park in March and prayed over the Lake Erie watershed. These waters flow over Niagara Falls, into Lake Ontario, through the St. Lawrence Seaway and empty into the Atlantic Ocean. Then we prayed again from the Divide, at the PA/New York border in May and at the PA/Ohio border in June.

On August 5, we will be continuing the assignment, praying from Presque Isle Erie, PA (a peninsula on Lake Erie). As Chuck Pierce stated we, “Set the fire of God and a bloodline as PA’s northern border.”

Commanding the Foreword – The foreword of a book sets up the chapters that will follow. Therefore; we will declare the principles and declarations on which our state & nation was founded. We will Command the Foreward with Robert Hunt’s First Landing decree in 1607, and the new Declaration of Dependence. We will declare the principles on which our state & nation was founded. Understanding that when commanding the foreward, we also participate in the synergy of the ages, tapping into “history past” and writing “history future.” We also decree as it came forward at Field of Dreams Harvest Ministries through Prophet John Mark Pool that William Penn’s Holy Experiment be Pennsylvania’s Holy Experience!

Painting the Borders – We will Paint/Anoint the Lake with water to cleanse (Hebrews10:22), oil to heal (Mark 6:13), and salt to remember God’s covenant (Leviticus 2:13). We will set a blood line at this northern border by raising a standard and planting a stake. The standard is God’s covenant with Penn. The stake will be a cross representing the perfect blood of Jesus which paid the price for our redemption. And a bronze image of a dove to represent Holy Spirit Fire.

We request the Release of Angels to assist the saints in the assignments given and boldly give voice to God’s word (Psalm 103:20).

Follow up: Praying friends from different streams took communion in unity as we remembered what Christ had done for us all on the cross of Calvary. We raised a standard with declarations from early writings and did prophetic acts involving water, oil, salt and a rock. We staked the ground with communion, a cross, and a bronze symbol of Holy Spirit. A fire & blood line was set at the northern border with Canada using the prophetic words of John Mark Pool spoken at Field of Dreams Harvest Minis tries in Erie, Pa., “William Penn’s Holy Experiment will become Pennsylvanias’s Holy Experience.” We released angelic help with scripture. In past “paintings” we had eagles fly overhead. This time we were visited by the bird Ben Franklin originally wanted to have as the Nations emblem! August 26 Prayer Walk on State Street

The borders of our county have been completely Painted/anointed and freedom declared! Many thanks to the holy perseverance of praying friends. Something they did was write scripture on rocks and leave them at the borders and in the waters of Lake Erie.

Let’s keep the anointing flowing at our next prayer walk by writing blessings from scripture on rocks and placing them along State Street. Feel free to prepare a “rock solid blessing” ahead of time or bring a rock with you next Saturday, Aug 26, and we can write on it then.

October 7 Prayer Walk at Frontier Family Park

At our gathering last month before walking up State Street, we prayed for our city. But before we headed up State Street, our hearts were moved for children and the upcoming school year. So, we also prayed for the ten Bible Clubs opening in Erie’s Elementary Schools. October’s prayer focus will continue to be children and education.

Let’s meet at Frontier Family Park at 9:20, Saturday, October 7. The picnic pavilion is just around the corner of East 6th & Wayne by the Bayfront Parkway.

Our prayer time will focus on dismissing the “father of lies” over education in Erie, specifically the Theory of Evolution. This “theory” has undermined young peoples understanding of themselves as being created by God with Intelligent Design.

We will also address new challenges children are facing with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Social Media abuse. There are so many different aspects of child abuse, including cyberbullying, child exploitation, and sex trafficking, that

we don’t know where to begin praying. Use this guide to pray over or spiritually combat each category, one day at a time.

Start with the truth–a fact is shared for each day from which to launch our prayer in this seven-day prayer guide.

Day 1: Cyberbullying

FACT:

Young people (ages 10–16) who accessed or shared sexual content or images of

cyberbullying or violence had as much as a 50% higher risk for thoughts of suicide (JAMA

Network Open, September 2021).

The Word says:

Whoever says he is in the light and hates his brother is still in darkness

(1 John 2:9).

Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave

you or forsake you

(Deuteronomy 31:6).

Pray:

God, we ask You today to visit the bully as well as those being bullied. Father, change the hearts of the ones bullying

others, shine Your light upon them, convict them, cause them to repent, and drive out all darkness from their hearts and

lives. The Bible says that the goodness of God leads us to repentance, so do lead them to repentance today, O God. And

minister to the ones being bullied God, cause them to be strong and bold — help them to stand up against the bully and to

report what is happening to a trusted adult or parent. And we pray that there would always

a trusted adult or parent; we

ask You to always raise up such a trusted person for any child who may not have one — so that no child will

ever

be alone.

Ever.

Father, we ask You to shine Your light upon all bullying — bring it out of the darkness and into the light until it is

completely eliminated. This we ask in Jesus’ name.

Day 2: Pornography

FACT:

About 50% of 11-to-13-year-olds, 65% of those 14 to 15, and 78% of those 16 to 17 reported

having seen pornography in some way (shown/sent by someone else, or personally searched

for/stumbled upon it).

The Word says:

For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery

(Galatians

5:1).

For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you abstain from sexual immorality …

(1 Thessalonians 4:3).

So whether

we are at home or away, we make it our aim to please him

(2 Corinthians 5:9).

Pray:

God, we come to You today concerning the trap of pornography. We ask You to open the eyes of those involved and to cause

them to acknowledge this wickedness and turn from it. Lord, we plead the blood of Jesus over their minds and their wills. We ask the

Holy Spirit to hover over them today; shine Your light upon their hearts and their actions, causing them to repent and to cry out to

You for cleansing from this sin. By faith we say: Thank You, God, that their eyes are open, and that they have turned back to You.

Thank You that they choose to please You above all things. We ask You to keep their minds stayed on You in such power that

pornography will hold no allure. Heal their hearts and their minds, and heal every family member who has been affected by this evil.

This we ask in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Day 3: Sexual Predators/Child Exploitation

FACT:

Roughly 98% of child sexual-abuse material reports involve children younger than 13,

and 30% of those involve children younger than 10, including infants and toddlers (Internet

Watch Foundation Annual Report 2021).

The Word says:

Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him if a great millstone were

hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea (Mark 9:42).

For nothing is hidden that will not be made manifest, nor is anything secret that will not be known and come to light (Luke 8:17).

Pray:

God, we bind the forces of darkness that are exploiting our children. In the name of Christ we command those forces to cease

and desist in their attacks against our children. We plead the blood of Jesus Christ over every child. We ask You to send angels to

encamp about them and keep them safe. Father, we ask You to give the children the boldness and courage to stand up and report this

evil to a trusted adult or family member. We pray that there would always be a trusted adult or family member. We ask You to

always raise up such a trusted person for those children who may not have one — so that no child will ever be alone. Ever. Expose

every sexual predator and every person who is exploiting children in any way — and bring them swiftly to justice. This we ask in

Jesus’ name. Amen.

Day 4: Social Media/Mobile Phones/ Sexting

FACT:

Almost half (46%) of young people (ages 12–16) feel they are addicted to their

smartphones (Digital Wellbeing 2020; The Cybersmile Foundation).

The Word says:

Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral

person sins against his own body. Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from

God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body (1 Corinthians 6:18–20).

Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in

God. When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory. Put to death therefore what is earthly in

you: sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry (Colossians 3:2–6).

Pray:

God, Your Word says that You will take what the enemy means for harm and turn it for good. The devil is using technology to

bring harm to children. We ask You to turn the tables in this area and cause social media and cell phones to be used no longer for sin

and impurity, but rather to deliver those who are caught in the traps of the enemy. Father, use this platform to cast light onto these

sins and onto the sexual predators attacking our children. We also ask You to convict every single child, teenager, and adult of the

sin of sexting, of using social media for evil. Convict them, and give them no rest until they turn from their wicked ways. Father, if

they will not repent, then expose them and bring them to swift justice, now. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Day 5: Sex Trafficking

FACT:

The sex and labor trafficking “industry” is second only to drug trafficking as the world’s

largest criminal enterprise (The International Labour Organization; Polaris Project).

The Word says:

Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked (Psalms 82:4).

I will seek the lost, and I will bring back the strayed, and I will bind up the injured, and I will strengthen the weak, and the fat and

the strong I will destroy. I will feed them in justice (Ezekiel 34:16).

All my bones shall say, “O Lord, who is like you, delivering the poor from him who is too strong for him, the poor and needy from him

who robs him?” (Psalms 35:10).

Pray:

Father, first of all, we thank You for every man, woman, and child who has already been delivered from the evil of sex

trafficking. Our God, Your Word does say that You will rescue the weak and needy from the hand of the enemy. Amen! We put You

in remembrance of Your Word today, and we declare, right now, that You are rescuing every person — man, woman, and child —

who is caught in the evil of sex trafficking. According to Your Word, seek out the lost and those who are trapped in this evil, and

bring them back to a place of safety. Bring them home, and heal them of all their wounds. Bring to justice all those who are

perpetrating this evil, and do this swiftly. Shine the blazing light of Your holiness and bring to bear the fear of Your awesome

presence into the darkness of this accursed, evil “industry” — and shut it down right now. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Day 6: Online Parenting

FACT:

Some 71% of teens have admitted to hiding what they do online from their parents (this includes

clearing browser history, minimizing a browser when in view, deleting inappropriate videos, lying about

activity, use of a phone instead of a computer).

The Word says:

Behold, I am sending you out as sheep in the midst of wolves, so be wise as serpents and innocent as doves

(Matthew 10:16). Walk in wisdom toward outsiders (Colossians 4:5). Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old,

he will not depart from it (Proverbs 22:6). You hem me in, behind and before, and lay your hand upon me (Psalms 139:5).

Pray:

God, Your Word says that You will take what the enemy means for harm and turn it for good. The devil is using technology to

bring harm to children. We ask You to turn the tables in this area and cause social media and cell phones to be used no longer for sin

and impurity, but rather to deliver those who are caught in the traps of the enemy. Father, use this platform to cast light onto these

FACT:

As the hours spent with pornography increase, the amount of gray matter in the brain decreases.

The Word says:

Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth (Colossians 3:2). Do not be conformed to

this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and

acceptable and perfect (Romans 12:2).

For I will restore health to you, and your wounds I will heal, declares the Lord (Jeremiah

30:17).

Pray:

God, we ask You to expose, expose, expose! Expose the dangers of this evil. Expose the detrimental effects of this evil — bring it

into the light. Cause every single person involved in this darkness to see Your light and to see plainly and clearly the harm they are

doing to their own bodies and minds. God, we ask You to expose all of those who are involved in creating this filth and in watching

it. Most especially, expose all of those who are setting this evil in front of our youth. Expose them now, O God, in Jesus’ name. Bring

those who are involved in marketing this spiritual poison into deep repentance. Visit them in the night season. Speak to them in the

silence. Make Yourself known to them in the dark. Convict them, O God — but if they refuse to repent, then let Your exposure drag

them to the strictest justice. As for those who turn from this wickedness, Father, we ask that You would mercifully heal them and

restore their brains to life and health. We ask this in Jesus’ name. Amen.

November Prayer Walk moved back one week to 11/11/23

The November prayer walk is shifting to November 11, to allow everyone to attend the Abundant Life Church special services November 3&4.

Dr. Patti Amsden will be speaking and I can personally vouch for her as I have participated in her Apostolic Training Class for the last three years and am excited that she is returning to Erie!

The Lord is leading us to pray at the library this month as we address the difference between the knowledge of man and the wisdom of faith. We will gather at 9:20, Saturday, November 11, behind the Blasco Library. You may park toward the end of the Visit Erie parking lot and walk over to the picnic table behind the library.

Last month we prayed for children and their education. This month we are at the library, a place where books are kept and knowledge is revered. But what is the history of the Erie Library? The Erie Library was started in 1866, rather uniquely as part of the YMCA. The formal dedication of a new building on South Park Row, now part of the Federal Courthouse, took place in 1899.

One may have heard about Andrew Carnegie libraries. Growing up dirt poor in Ireland, Carnegie immigrated to America and made a fortune in the steel industry. He was a great philanthropist but not a devout man. In his book, The Gospel of Wealth, he puts forth a world view that elevates the acquisition of knowledge above faith in God. Carnegie writes, “Upon no foundation but that of popular education can man erect the structure of an enduring civilization.” Carnegie spent much of his vast fortune building almost 1700 libraries across the country, 750 remain. Erie is not a Carnegie library. As a matter of fact, Erie’s library being first housed in the YMCA, is consistent with the original intent and purpose of knowledge being used to give glory to God. As we pray for knowledge and education in the region, let’s tap into the synergy between knowledge and faith resident in this region and “heavenize” our territory!

Prayer Focus:

As prayer warriors in the Erie territory, we have the awesome responsibility and privilege of walking out the main focus of the Prayerie prayer movement, which is to prepare the way of the Lord. John the Baptist was tasked with preparing the way for Christ’s first coming to earth. As Watchmen Prayer Warriors we are also charged with preparing the way for Him. I like how it is written in the Living Bible, “to prepare people for His arrival” (Luke 1:17).

On 11/11, we are asking God for an anointing to prepare the way of the Lord. When John the Baptist was born, the angel Gabriel told Zechariah that his son would be great in the sight of the Lord. That he would bring back many of the people of Israel to the Lord their God. Gabriel foretold that John’s message would, “soften adult hearts to become like little children, and change disobedient minds to the wisdom of faith” (Luke 1:14-17 TLB).

True to the creator’s original intent for this land; we decree as in Habakkuk 2:4 “Erie” will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.”

Points of Repentance:

We repent for pridefully relying on our own knowledge and decisions. We repent for falling into the same mind-set as those who desired to elevate themselves above God and build the Tower of Babel. (See Genesis 11).

We repent for pharisaical mind-sets that put religious rules, regulations, and knowledge above grace, mercy and the love of the Father.

Declarations:

This month, we declare Erie is prepared for the Lord! We speak those prophetic words of Gabriel over Erie, “Men’s hearts will be softened to become like little children, and disobedient minds (mind-sets) will embrace the wisdom of faith in God.”

We declare that just as the child Jesus, Erie children will become strong and robust, known for wisdom beyond their years; with God’s blessing poured out on them (Luke 2:40 TLB).

Prayer from Ruth:

Father God,

Forgive us for elevating human knowledge above God. This has led us down paths and solutions that are based on the world’s knowledge. Cause us to hunger for the “Tree of Life” which is Jesus and Him as the living Word of God.

We stand-in-the-gap for our nation, the education system, and our culture. Forgive us and those who have opposed Your truth and laws. We release God’s Original Intent for our education, nation, and cultural systems. Your word says, “We have not because we don’t ask.” We are asking for a total resetting of these ecosystems back to Your Original Intent.

We ask for Your mercy and grace but also the fear of God to be released in our land. Your word says, “the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom.” We are crying out for Your wisdom to reveal Jesus to all the earth. By Your grace, we speak Your words, which is our weapon You have given us to bring Your will on the earth.

Zechariah 4:6-7 NIV “So he said to me, “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the Lord Almighty. “What are you, mighty mountain? Before Zerubbabel you will become level ground. Then he will bring out the capstone to shouts of ‘God bless it! God bless it!’”

We say to these spiritual strongholds in our land, “you are being dismantled and brought down.” We release God’s blessing, “God’s kingdom come, God’s will be done!” In Jesus’s name and empowered by Holy Spirit, amen!

December 2, 2023 Prayer Walk at the Bay Front

Erie Bayfront History:

When the Erie Triangle was sold and deeded to Pennsylvania from the newly

formed federal government, land here was finally available to settle. Colonel Seth Reed and his family came from Buffalo, New York, in 1795 to establish the first trading post on Erie’s Bayfront. The harbor offered excellent access to commerce coming in from New York. Tools and other things needed to build a community were supplied thus preparing the way for Erie’s rapid growth. And Erie certainly did grow! The town acquired 400 residents over the next 15 years.

Prayer Focus:

Prayerie will continue to walk out the main focus of the movement, which is to prepare the way of the Lord. On 12/2/23, we are asking God to open people’s eyes and hearts to the spiritual supply lines of God’s heavenly access. We declare Jesus is our Jacob’s Ladder; we look to Him and seek Him first believing that all good things come from our Father above!

We welcome the ministry of Joshua Revolution and the fresh energy they bring. Thank you to those who are volunteering for this post Christmas festival! We will be praying along-side you as you reach out to Erie youth and families.

We repent for trusting in worldly supply lines instead of seeking first the Kingdom of God (Matthew 6:33).

We repent for pridefully building our own lives, houses and businesses before establishing a habitation for the Lord (Psalm 132:3-5).
